FR245M and basecamp

Has anyone tried using FR245 music with basecamp? I know that FR245 doesent support maps, but maybe it is possible to connect it to PC with basecamp and add waypoints which will be visible on mapscreen.

I was using FR305 in that manner few years ago.

Basecamp is legacy anyways, the development was stopped before 245 was even released

I can confirm that FR245M is visible in basecamp and you can add POIs ! :) awesome :) You can navigete (by line) to saved locations too! :) nice (also 3.6gb for data :)

Also you can use few simple icons…

Training connect is legacy, Basecamp is still in use. I am still using it with my FR945 and etrex very often. There is no faster and better way for hand drawn tracks and planning :) Garmin explore is clunky and garmin connect is lacking features.

BTW today i got patch for basecamp so it is not abadoned :)

2nd your comment about Basecamp. My goto work flow for planning and location/waypoint editing on my F6Pro, Edge 830, and GPSMap 64. Sorry, can't answer the question regarding 245, however.
