Auto Pause

I recently got a FR 245 and have been enjoying the watch. However, the auto-pause function has been causing me some problems. Sometimes I come to a stoplight and pause the run manually, using the stop/start button. If I start it up manually when I start running, the auto-pause immediately kicks in and pauses the watch for ten seconds or so even though I'm running. Why does it do this? Is something working incorrectly?

Why even use auto pause in the first place if you just manually pause the workout anyways?

Sometimes I will want to pause the run and walk for a min or move around, and then autopause gets confused. Manual pause seems more appropriate. Autopause I think of being useful for certain situations and manual pause for others. Regardless, it seems like autopause shouldn’t stop the watch once I have just started to move.
