Heartrate missing during workout, how to change this?

I am using the forerunner 245 for a few days now. I made some walking activites, but when I do this workout I only see a timer on my watch and I get some information after 1/3 of the workout.

Is it possible to change the info on my screen during  a workout? I prefer to see my heartrate during the working out? Is this possible? And the averige time by example.

  • Are you just walking or starting the walk app? If using the app you can configure the data screens to show whatever fields you want.  If in doubt read the manual here

I made some simple workouts, and put this in my calender.  By example one of 55 minutes.  On the watch I choose walking (start button) then I choose the up button and goes to Training , My Workouts and  choose the workout I made and put in the calender. When I start this I only see a timer with 55:00 going to null. When I only choose, with the start button , walking and I start this then I see the timer starting with ascending time, and also the heartrate( I configure the heartrate, on the watch)so thatś ok now.  I guess I do something wrong with putting a workout on my calender. When I start these kind of workouts I guess the watch does not see it as a walking workout? Because when I start them I only see a timer with decreasiing time. Is it possible to plan walking workouts on my calender?

Issue is clear for me, I noticed with the down button you  can change you want to see on the screen of the watch during a workout.
