Accessing own workouts

I've created interval workouts with the garmin connect app, but can't access them with my Garmin forerunner music watch. Every time I try it displays "download workouts from Garmin connect". I've synced and 'sent to device' multiple times. Turned wifi and Bluetooth on and off. Turned the phone and the watch on and off

Which Garmin model? Could be Forerunner 245 Music, 645 Music, 745, or 945.

What type of workout have you created? Run, bike, cardio etc.?

What activity type are you starting on your watch before you choose the workout? You must choose the same type as the type for the workout. For example if you create a cardio workout you can't start that with a run activity and vice versa.

It's a custom workout, but for interval running. The only reason I've created it through custom is because I can't work out how to change the duration to time rather than distance. My only option appears to be distance

Custom workouts can't be started with Run activity. Custom workouts works for Walk, Hiking and probably some other activities but not for the ones that got its own workout types.

If it doesn't work in the app you can always use the web and create the workout there: https://connect.garmin.com/modern/workouts

Currently it seems to be some issues with the iOS app. That list works in Android.

This should be fixed with the latest software update to the connect app. If you go to more, settings, version, it should be on 4.41.1.1, which was released on the 5th. If you are still having this issue after confirming that you have received the update, please let me know.
