NEW FEATURE?!?! Body Battery Alerts

I stumbled onto a discovery recently. If I wake up in the morning, and my body battery has just hit 100 in the last 5 minutes, it is the most rested that I've ever felt. But if my body battery stays at 100 for say, and hour, or two hours, when I wake up, I just feel very tired, and sleepy. And it's a hard morning getting up. All that that to say-

Garmin!!! PLEASE add a Body Battery Alerts so that an alarm, or ring, or sometime up notification on your watch can go off if 1. (Your body battery gets to low) or 2. (When the body battery hits 100) This would be a great addition to the watch. Comment down below if you agree, lets show Garmin this is a feature we want!

Why would you need some type of notification if you physically feel the difference?  In other words, do you need your watch to tell you that you feel refreshed and well rested or you're run down and feel tired?  I've been successfully doing this for over 50 years without Body Battery or anything similar and it hasn't failed me yet :).

  • To be clear, I'm not saying that any type of notification will make me feel a difference. I can feel that all just fine on my own. But body battery for me has been about 95% accurate, and to have a notification that tells me when my body has reached 100, would be a useful tool. See when I just happen to wake up when my body battery has just reached 100 I feel very well rested. But currently there's no alarm or anything that can tell me I've reached this. I will sleep for about 2 hours on 100, and then I feel awful when I wake up. All I think is that it would be a useful feature.

I understand what you want now and there are many things available for you to use.  What you're describing is a "smart alarm" which wakes you at the best time during your sleep cycle.  Many swear by this and some are skeptical.  Anyway, Google "smart sleep alarm" for details and options.

  • Interesting. Yeah, that's exactly what I mean. I'll have to check it out. Thanks!

  • YES this is exactly my experience. I would love this feature.
