Hiking with FR245

Hello

I am struggling a bit with my FR245 for hiking as 245 does not have a built-in hiking mode such as 945.

I have tried to transplant the hiking mode from 945 to 245 and it did not work unfortunately (although I am not sure I understand why it does not work).

Has anyone found a solution that mimics the built in hiking app from 945, other than the Hike2 app from Garmin IQ?

I second what Neil R said. I use a F6, 945 and 935 and the Hike2 app is much better than the native hiking app.

ok thank you. i will give it a try.

If I may, do you know if I can create a custom activity that will record as a hike on GC?
