Virtual partner on 245

I’m trying to use this to show the time ahead/behind of a previous activity as per the instruction manual for the watch.

what I get instead is a time showing 1’47’35” right at the start of an activity, how can this be correct as I’ve literally set of and I’m nearly 2 hrs ahead !

i contacted Garmin support but got an answer stating “ there’s no option to adjust the time format”

anyone know how to set it to show the real time ahead or behind ?

Hello, I've tried reproducing what you are seeing 5 times but I'm getting the correct time behind at the top. Just to verify you went to run, then run settings, added the virtual partner data screen, then set a pace target, and when you pressed start t said 1'47'35? Could you attach a picture of this?

I’m racing against a previous activity, it’s an option of either from history or downloaded !
