Finding GPS delay

We have 2x245’s in the household - both are on the same firmware and software version.

We have an issue whereby one of the devices will lock into gps in about 60 secs and the other device will take over 5mins to lock on when placed side by side.

How do we fix the second device so it locks onto the gps quicker?

We are UK based, have tried both gps / glosnass and nothing seems to make an improvement to the second device ability to connect.

I'm noticing this more too. Actually used to alway use Gallileo and have started switching to Glonass to try to speed it up. Battery life is terrible at the moment too and not getting any better.

Why not switch to European sattelites instead of Russian? (GPS + Galileo)
