Next and Previous Song Track Control overlaid on run data screen

Hi All,

I've tried Mr. Google for answers, but I still cannot find what I'm looking for.  Is there any widget/app/setting that I can add to my FR245 to control Next and Previous Song Track while also on a run and displaying my settings of choice (avg pace, time, distance)?  Basically, see the picture (marked up in paint) as follows for what I'm looking for on a single screen while on a run.

The only thing I see is the default way of controlling music, and it's useless for me because you first have to start your run, then cycle down to your music control area (this area only has a single button for Next Song Track (further submenus have Prev Song Track), but not two buttons -- 1 for Next, 1 for Prev.... oh, and all while displaying my run data on the same screen.

Suggestions?  Please tell me there's an app, or that I'm dumb is fine too if you've got info on how I can do this.

Thanks,

DS

  • If you're using bluetooth headphones, usually you can just tap them to go next/previous song (and volume).  Is there a reason why you want/need to do it on the watch itself?

  • Copy, yes, my complaint with that is I've got to double tap for next, and triple tap for previous.  That sometimes means I've got my hand near my ear just tapping away for 200 yards or more at a time to get to the song I'm in the mood for.
