FR245 - stress level not measuring, but stating 'check watch fit' after 6-weeks of being fine

Hello

I've had my FR245 for about 2 months and it's all of a sudden stopped measuring stress levels, and states 'check watch fit' instead. Similarly, the Pulse Ox measuring gets stuck halfway through measuring and goes no further, Any ideas why this is happeneing?

thanks

Mike

  • This has happened to me after only eleven days. It's still displaying HR, and it's on the same wrist, same wristband notch as it was yesterday, but there are no body battery or stress numbers displayed, and when I go to check stress, it gives the message you reported. Mine does report an SpO2 value, so it's not exactly the same problem. I'm disappointed that I'm the only one to answer you. I guess Garmin doesn't monitor the forums for problems with the products.

  • I had this issue a few weeks ago, after an update. When I realize Stress wasn't been measure on Garmin Connect, I turned off the watch, waited for a few seconds, and turned it on. Doing that fixed the problem, and hasn't repetead again. Have you tried this?

  • That's a pretty obvious thing to do, and I have to admit that I hadn't tried it.  I'm not used to a wristwatch being a thing a person can turn off and on! Your suggestion fixed the missing stress right away, and then body battery came back after it had some time to analyze stress, or whatever it does. Thank you.
