Yeah, I've noticed that too.

Hi, when you record the activity are you getting over a mile of distance recorded? If so, can you send a picture of what the activity summary page, with the total distance recorded, as well as the options that you have when you go through the summary menu.
Also, on the 245M, calibrate and save only changes your total distance, but does not calibrate each data point. So charts on Garmin Connect will use the incorrect distance that is not calibrated. Subsequently syncs to 3rd parties like Strava will use data that is not calibrated.
Any plans to fix this? Applying a % formula to each data point should not be difficult. {CalibratedDataPoint=DataPoint*(TotalCalibratedDistance/TotalDistance)}
Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't the "calibrate" part refer to future runs?
i.e. The data for the current run won't be recalibrated/reinterpreted, but future runs should be more accurate.
Good point, but calibrating does adjust the total distance recorded in Garmin Connect, but when you drill down into your stats/laps/charts, then things do not add up as it is using uncalibrated data as can be seen in the example below. Lap 1,2 and 3 total 2.11km but the summary states 2.4km (calibrate and save km). Either the adjust all data points as a % or they adjust nothing and instead use the feature to improve future treadmill activities.

@WillNorthYork, this is correct. How Does the Treadmill Calibration Feature Work on My Garmin Watch?
Yeah, I've noticed that too.

For adjusted treadmill runs, I just make sure think of the lap data as the original record of the activity, while the totals are what I "really" ran. I actually kind of like having the original record.
