Software 6.20 does NOT fix the bluetooth headphone disconnection issues

Garmin I'm honestly convinced you guys are trolling with this now or you just don't give a crap.

Both the 6.2 and previous update patch notes say you've fixed the disconnection issue that so many people are having and you are well aware of, but I just tried it today and there is zero improvement.

Literally the entire feature of the music version of your watches has been broken for the last couple of months and you guys can't even fix it? Come on, sort it out!

  • Hi, I'd like to get more information on what you are using; if the update did not resolve the issue we need to get that feedback reported.

    • What type of headphones are you using?
    • Does the watch disconnect from your phones, or just the headphones?
  • You've already had all this information from myself and others.  I put a support ticket in ages ago and you can literally see all the other people talking about it across these forums + even the 945 and Fenix models.

Headphones are Apple Airpods, but i10 and Samsung BT headphones are exactly the same.

The watch does not disconnect from my phone.  It doesn't technically disconnect from the headphones, it just cuts out and you have to turn the headphones off and on again to get anything playing again.

Like I said in another post, does anyone at Garmin even use these watches? It's such an obvious, widespread issue introduced in the last couple of updates and it's amazing you guys keep saying it's fixed but can't seem to fix it.

  • Dear Garmin, you must know that this is known problem. It work totally fine half a year ago. I have Forerunner 945 and Jaybird Vista. The Vistas works fine with the phone. But when playing offline content (Spotify) with the Forerunner 945 it drops connection. It can be after 20min, it can ben after 1min. This problem did not occur half a year ago. So you have done something with the BT firmware. You claimed to have fixed this problem in latest release but you did not!

I run with GPS plus music via airpods2. The headphones disconnect themselves. Previously, this was not until version 5.0 approximately (six months did not run, just changed several versions of the software). Which version is better to roll back 5x to?
