Sensor are not working properly (Stress, Body Battery, SpO2)

I recently got my Garmin FR245, and on the first day it was working beautifully. However, since then, the sensors are all buggy.

  • The body battery only recharges if I do a soft reset
  • The sleep is not being tracked properly
  • The stress level does not recognize rest periods

Has someone already faced this? How did you solve it?

  • Fortunately I just bought the Forerunner 245 for route directions and GPS tracking ultra trail runs, which it has been working great at :)

But I have been surprised by some of the other sensors' performance. I appear to have very low blood oxygen levels so after looking on some forums I turned that sensor off. I get accurate HR during watch activities, but if I just wear the watch while, for example, indoor cycling it under-reads by about 60bpm. It can't tell if I'm asleep or reading in bed. I rarely appear to do deep sleep. There's no link with other activities, i.e. I did a fast 100 mile indoor ride which automatically uploads to Garmin from Zwift (the watch is frequently paired to my smartphone app as well) and that has zero affect on recovery time, training load or intensity minutes, and there doesn't appear to be much correlation with body battery. Although it has appropriately measured a lot of stress since I put the watch back on after the ride.
