My Forerunner 245 watchband cleaning

My Forerunner 245 watchband is starting to look a little crusty. Anyone have a cleaning process to share?

I put my watchbands in a delicates laundry wash bag once in a while, and wash them together with the rest of the laundry; short program, max 30*C and spinning with low RPM.
