Vo2 max & weight

Hi,

I've googled this quite a bit before asking....

Have been using the 245 for about 8 or 9 months now, all good.

I fully get that vo2 max is not likely to be extremely accurate based off a watch, but keeping it steady or improving is a trend I can use as a guide.

My vo2 max has been improving a bit over the last 8 or 9 months, nothing significant but improved a bit.  I just checked a few days ago and had not updated my weight since first using the watch, so I updated this, having lost 11kg.

Out for a run today and my vo2 max shows no improvement. I thought weight was a factor in the algorithms and that it might have improved (I realise that my fitness is what it is, and nothing has changed, but just curious re parameters involved in calculating vo2 max).
