Why does the Garmin website show the Forerunner 245 with a Triathlon mode? Has there been a software update or is it just misleading marketing and imagery?

Thank you for bringing that to our attention. I have submitted your image for review to our website team.
Would be nice if you added triathlon support to the back-log for the software engineering team ;-)
So you are saying that the 245 doesn't have the triathlon app? Because it is shown in the Austrian Garmin web page as well....in two different pictures actually...
Why would anybody buy a FR 745 for nearly double the price, if FR 245 also had a native triathlon app?
Obviously you don‘t understand the role of product differentiation in marketing.
It's Garmin's mistake to put it on the website, so makes sense to do justice to their misleading advertisements to include it for the handful of loyal FR245 users who would appreciate this repair. Not just the triathlon function by the way. I recently got a tacx bike trainer and this is also not supported. Apparently the watch cannot connect with the trainer, while is has the native indoor bike ride activity function.
so makes sense to do justice
Justice? Lol!
Not going to happen bro. We still waiting for Firstbeat sleep tracking and Concept 2 support, which was mentioned as coming in the forums/listed on the changelogs. Certain features like recovery notifications just seem to not work for me as well.
Also, Tacx is owned by Garmin, so I feel your pain.
