Forerunner 245 Triathlon

They might be referring to extended display mode, where you can combine the 245 with an Edge during cycling.

It doesn’t show triathlon when I look at the photo on the product page though 

Would be nice if you added triathlon support to the back-log for the software engineering team ;-)

Thanks for the response. And thank you for confirming that it incredibly misleading. I purchased the Forerunner 245 based on the imagery with the presumption that there must be some sort of inbuilt triathlon function, even if it is not as comprehensive as the higher end models. There are actually two images on that page that show an inbuilt triathlon function. 

Is Garmin willing to refund or credit the purchase based on the misleading website?

Hi there 4751045. The only case that I could see for that to be made would be in Australia as that is where the material was located. For other locales, I would say the answer to that would be no. If you are in Australia, support.garmin.com/.../ reach out at this web address  Mon-Fri: 8:30am to 5:00pm (AEST). Closed weekends and Australian Public Holidays. Not being in Australia, I can't tell you how they will handle it, but it might be worth having a discussion with them. 

So you are saying that the 245 doesn't have the triathlon app? Because it is shown in the Austrian Garmin web page as well....in two different pictures actually...
