Forerunner 245 music - unable to adjust earphone volume despite pressing the buttons on watch

Has this been fixed? Can anyone at Garmin help me as it seems to be that the watch is not working?

I am having the same problem with fr245 also. The buttons work perfectly except when it comes to adjust volume (even though in the screen it appears as if the volume is changing).

This thread has been taken up many times before but here we go again - I can't change music volume using the buttons on the watch. I bought the watch in January as an upgrade from Forerunner 35 so it is new. I've managed to upload old iTunes files, and connect with Spotify, so everything works except adjusting volume. The volume is in the middle level and will not go up or down. I've tried using new JLab JBuds Air Sport which are using Bluetooth 5 and Plantronics Backbeat that are several years old but it doesn't make any difference, the watch volume control is stuck

Forgive me because I do not have a 245, but this worked for my watch. Long press Menu, then Music Providers, Control Phone. It wasn't working before I did this because I was trying to control my headphones from the watch vs. controlling the phone, which in turn controls the volume.
