Virtual Partner on 245 Series not showing time ahead or behind

Hi, does anyone have a problem with "Race an activity " where the time ahead /time behind is wildly off?

In my case it says 1hr40mins ahead or behind from the very beginning of my run. Interestingly, I think it might be getting ahead/behind correct (I see it changing), but the time offset is just wrong.

I have the latest software installed and I've noticed this a couple of times now when racing different runs.

Any thoughts /ideas welcome.

I gave a try to the workaround as posted 10 days ago.

I do not get how the 'estimated time of arrival' is calculated, but at least the delta with the actual previous activity seems pretty much accurate (just a 20 seconds difference between the displayed value and the 'real' one, all along the race).

Yes, when I tried the work-around, I found I was 15 seconds out the whole way along, which is better than somethign like 54 minutes 18 seconds out.

Great that they've acknowledged it, hopefully they resolve it quickly.

The thing with the work-around, is that being exactly level with your previous activity is still not zero. Say it shows 20 seconds when you're level. That's fine to start with. If it says 18 seconds, you're 2 seconds ahead. Problem comes when you're faster than 20 seconds ahead. If the watch shows "10 seconds", that either means you're 10 seconds ahead or 30 seconds ahead. So the work-around is definitely easier to work with, but I'm still hoping they'll fix this properly.
