Hello, I have five questions about the Garmin HRM Run/Pro and my Forerunner 245m before I get a chest strap:
1) Does the chest strap also count steps?
2) Is it possible to use the chest strap for other sports? I know that then only the heart rate would be used. Sports: cycling, hiking, gymnastics, walking, home workout (e.g. the pulse during push-ups, ..., is often not correctly recognized). Does it maybe count steps too?
3) How do I know that the data is coming from the chest strap? Is that on the clock? Do I see it in the app?
4) Can I record with the chest strap and the watch at the same time? To compare data
5) The "only" important difference between run and pro is that the pro is also suitable for swimming, isn't it?
