Battery drain after 5.4 update

My FR 245 no music watch updated to software version 5.4 the other day and since then my battery has been draining really quickly even without GPS usage. Any ideas what may have happened?

I have Forerunner 245 SW v5.50.

After 2 days 18 hours - 52% battery:
- without any activity recording,
- mobile apps notification - ON,
- all day HR monitoring (without %O2).

That means about max. 5 days…

i have the same issue...battery drain is high even without using GPS or SpO2.

I used to charge it every 6 days-1week, with 3-4 hours of run with gps. Now it's lower than 20% in 3 days.

Im in 5.50 and the battery drain is heavy, like 25% just yesterday. Please fix ist ;(

I have Forerunner 245 SW v5.50.

That means about max. 5 days (only!!!) battery life without any GPS activity recording after 13 months of use my watch. If I remember, previously after unboxing brand new watch it was 10-11 days with app notifications and 24h HR monitoring.

Im in 5.50 and the battery drain is heaviest. If go to bed with a full charge watch I have 25-30% left in the morning. I must charge my watch 2 times/day. On morning and midday or evening. If I thinking on reset my watch tomorrow morning and see if that helps.

I’m having drain like this. Watch died overnight last 2 nights because of excess drain. Full battery 5 hours ago and 17% drain since then with no activity. Have you seen any improvement?

therefore i see no sign of hear rate in gamrin connect app: still showing the hr at the moment but no daily variation nor max or min Hear frequency neither the graph.

Please fix this beacuse it's been getting worse since I bought it casue of NO CALORIES BUG and BATTERY DRAIN WITH 5.50 SW. and it only has 4 months the sportwatch (bought on August)
