My wife and I got 2 similar 245m, but a couple months ago or so her watch has stopped monitoring sleep. There is still no data and 2 days ago it has stopped monitoring hr as well.
Firmware is up to date.
What's going on Garmin?

I have the same issue with my vanilla 45. It was fine to begin with but it's been very erratic with sleep tracking for the last couple of months. Sometimes it doesn't record anything (sleep is shown as unmeasurable) and other times it only starts recording it after midnight. I'm an early bed/early rise sort of person so I'm losing 2-3 hours of sleep data each night. The other thing is, unless I remember to sync it before bed, it'll lose all my HR date from my last sync until midnight as well.
Without heart rate data the watch won't record sleep. Based on what you've described here I would start with a soft reset. Press and hold the top left button down for about 15-20 seconds. You'll get a prompt for an assistance alert, but if you keep holding the button down it will power down on its own. That will hopefully reset the heart rate sensor. That might fix your issues with sleep as well, I know you said the issue started with sleep to begin with, but if the heart rate data has been seen as invalid by the watch for awhile and now has gotten to a point that it's not reading at all. That would be enough to keep you from getting a sleep reading.
