How to manually add live track recipients in FR 245?

My Garmin FR 245 will only let me add recipients to LiveTrack email list by importing from phone contacts. How can I manually type in the email address in the LiveTrack app page instead of first having to add the recipient to my phone contacts?

i have an iPhone 8 plus with iOS 13.7.

Unfortunately you can't. You can either choose Contacts in Garmin Connect or phone contacts. If you don't want to temporarily add a contact, then consider requesting this using the Share Ideas form - https://www.garmin.com/en-US/forms/ideas/

Thanks. I submitted suggestion. Meanwhile, my contacts will grow....
