BIG White Blob of pixels on Screen - Garmin 245 Music - Disaster Product!

Got a new 245 music - within a week of using it a big white blob appears on the screen - about 4mm in size circular. The whole area is just a mess of white pixels that won't go away.

Try to get support and it is next to impossible. Chat does not work!!! Endless

'ON HOLD' music when you call. A email sent - which the reply is we will respond in two or three days. What a joke. For what I paid I can get an Apple watch SE with far more features and practically instant support.

Really poor product, my last garmin 235 battery just died so now I have two duds!

Stay away. Get an Apple watch.

  • Well... This kinda reads like a "mimimimi"-thread and a whineout. But here is my experience with garmin and that was brilliant in any point.

Got the same problem, wrote an email and after 2 working days I got a RMA number and sent my watch to garmin. 3 days later a new one was in the mail. You need to be a bit patient.

Maybe Whiney - but I think with reason. 1st Garmin lasts a year, batt dies and won’t hold a charge. Bought a replacement and in week it’s faulty (big numbers with the same issue, check online) - product is not worth the money when it’s substandard, faulty and not fit for purpose. Waiting endlessly on hold doesn’t add up to awesome support imo. I was told up to two weeks to get a replacement. Apple Nike sports watch, same price for the SE, far better value as a watch. Oh and it works and they have more than one support person Thinking

  • same problem after 1 year of continuous use. Shipped today for RMA, and it seems there is a dedicated page for that a Garmin's Online Exchange for the Forerunner 245
