How to show Stryd distance and speed instead of the Garmin numbers

I want the distance and speed numbers I get from my Stryd pod to appear on my Garmin 245 instead of the numbers that would natively come from Garmin. Does turning off GPS ensure this or do I have to change some other setting(s) also? Thanks.

You can easily Google this - Stryd Setup Instructions: Garmin 245

No, you won't need to turn off the GPS in order for pace + distance from Stryd to work.
