Bluetooth connectivity broken with OnePlus 7T

My Garmin forerunner 245 music will no longer Bluetooth connect to my OnePlus 7T smartphone. Previously, I have had no issues and enjoy the Garmin smart watch experience.

Main software: 5.00

ANT/BLE/BT: 6.06

OnePlus 7T has been running Android 10 (Oxygen OS 10.0.11) for months and previously had no issues connecting to my Garmin forerunner 245 music. Therefore the new ANT/BLE/BT 6.06 seems most suspect.

I'm happy to provide and supporting diagnostic information if helpful. Thanks.

Update:

A reset and repair has solved the issue.

  • Hi,

I have a Garmin Fenix 5 plus and it was working without any kind of issues till last December. I had my Garmin connected to my OnePlus 7 Pro, to a Garmin heart rate band and to my bluetooth earphones. One day it didn't connect to my heart rate anymore and I thought it was because of the battery but changing the heart rate band battery didn't solve the issue. Then I tried to connect to my earphones and didn't work. I removed my garmin device from Garmin connect and tried to connect it again and didn't connect.

After that, I have tried several things like... I made a hard reset to my Fenix 5 Plus, I removed Garmin Connect Mobile from my phone, I removed garmin device from my bluetooth settings in my phone, I installed Garmin Express in my pc and connected the Fenix through USB to my computer. After this, I installed all pending updates to the Fenix, and then I installed Garmin Connect on my phone again and tried to connect the Fenix to my phone and didn't succeed.

Any ideas on what could be the issue and how I can solve it?

    Thanks.
