Sleep tracking not happening since the Garmin connect issue

Sleep tracking is the one function that hasn’t been restored for me. I’ve set typical sleep and wake times in the app, unpaired and re-paired the watch, etc and I’m still not getting any sleep tracking. I can manually enter sleep and wake times the next day but don’t get REM estimates. Is there a fix for this? I’m on the latest update for connect, the latest iOS update, etc.

  • I had the same issue, apparently the fix was to reboot the FR245
While Garmin was under hacker attack, was impossible to sync data. After, the ¿monday 27/7?, when the service was recovered, all data were uploaded and any data wasn't lost
Two days after and during some days, the sleep data didn't appear
I did a reboot at FR245 and that night, data were recorded and uploaded to Garmin
Now, the issues repeat. Today I realized that the last 3 days Garmin didn't have recorded sleep data.
I did a new reboot and I hope it will work

  • Unfortunately I’ve tried multiple watch reboots with no luck.

  • I've also had the same issue, updated 2 days ago, no sleep tracking since. Tried resetting multiple times, no luck.

  • I've also not been getting step uploads since the update as well.

  • Today the reboot doesn't fix. Any data from this night was registered

  • I wrote to Garmin support form and they reply by email
I followed the instructions and the problem was fixed
    Summary
    1) Install Garmin Express on PC, If you have installed previously, then check for updates
    2) Connect FR245 to PC, open Garmin Express & check for updates for clock
    3) If you have more 1 Garmin, check that FR245 is the favorite activity monitor
(I did that on Android App)
    4) Edit sleep and wake time (I edited modifing 5 minutes, also in Android App)
    5) Make sure the clock is adjusted to your wrist when come to sleep

After this, I opened Android App and there are data from last 5 days
Maybe the issue is on Android App

  • Fix solution: uninstall & install Garmin connect App on my Android phone
After this, problem was definitely solved
