GPS: 0.00; CPE: Missing

Hi,

My device is a FR245. As of yesterday, I have not been able to acquire a GPS signal when I have tried to start activities. The 'About' menu reads "GPS: 0.00", and says "CPE: Missing". I have tried to troubleshoot this issue using multiple methods (e.g. deleting the RemoteSW folder and syncing with Garmin Express, reinstalling the 4.40 firmware through WebUpdater, etc). However, this has all been to no avail; the menu still reads the exact same information.

For reference, my device is currently running the 4.87 (76952e6) beta update. Syncing with either Garmin Express or the Garmin Connect app has yielded no results.

Any suggestions?

your firmware version is old its 7.2 for non apac devices. Do you have an APAC device ? if not, i would recommend updating to a more latest version of the firmware.

CPE is usually updated as soon as you sync with garmin express.

I'm having the same issue with my forerunner 245 music. 3 runs now without gps data . About also says CPE expired, software version 7.2 (92baa41)

I have a Fenix 5s and have been having GPS issues for a week or more. I run my 4 mile route and it says it is 5.1 miles. And my pace is 2 min faster than it should be. I have tried removing and replacing the remote folder, doing a hard reset, waiting, etc to no avail. Has anyone called Garmin about it?
