This first week of September 2021 my 245 stopped showing cadence while running, and run pace is sporadic. There was an update prior to this. Version 7.80

Had the same problem last week, didn't notice til after the run. It also didn't record performance condition.
Did a couple of soft resets, but also and changed one of the run screens to include cadence and performance condition. Seems to be working now - I can check the cadence is recording before starting a run.
No idea if it the soft reset had anything to do with it working again or if it was a random glitch...

Yeah, mine's been missing from a few runs now. I thought it might be due to incorrect upload, so reloaded but not this. I've restarted the watch previously and it worked next time but will have to check this every run now to confirm.
I just got a brand new 245 replacement....guess what....ZERO cadence recorded!!!!
my cadence reading is missing in the run too, any chance to retrieve the data?
It was working fine until I updated the latest update today……
Mine too.
Garmin will not bother fixing this.

Hello, we are currently in the process of rolling out a software version to resolve issues related to cadence data not being recorded on the watch.
Forerunner 245 - Software Version 8.30
This software is currently at 50% and is being rolled out on our normal roll out schedule.
