Invalid file

I just finished running a virtual race (Possum's Revenge 69 mi) and I'm supposed to provide a link to prove that I ran it. Of course, when I try to upload my run I get an invalid file error and it won't sync. I've tried syncing with my phone, syncing with my computer, downloading the file and uploading it to Garmin Connect, no luck. I even tried a few .fit file repair websites but couldn't figure them out. I've linked the file below if anyone can help.

    hi,

lots of gaps in your recording without data and recording to the fit file ended abruptly

from lap14 onwards there is only lap data and no activity data

can not repair what is not there to be repaired

ran your file through Fit File Tools's section remover (without any removing) for you

als checked with Fit File Repair Tool with same result

    check this file fitfiletools.zip

this shows the gaps in my local time

    happy & safe sporting

Thanks so much! I really appreciate you looking into it. This makes a lot more sense now. When I downloaded a fit->csv file, it was littered with errors and I couldn't make sense of anything, guess now I know why. I can see the time and distance on my watch and took a picture of it, hopefully the race will accept that. Thanks again!
