Should I use a screen protector?

I've had a 245 for almost a month. I bought a spare charging cable that came with two glass screen protectors. Pros and cons of using these?

No cons, just put it on.

Take a look at the screen protector on my 245 after 14 months. I wouldn't run without it. YMMV
