Connect IQ "Memory Full" pop up message

I have a new 245 Music running 4.40. Whenever I'm in Connect IQ I get a popup message "Memory Full". I've only added a few apps / data fields.

Also Connect frequently says that it can't connect to the watch.

I've rebooted the watch and my phone. It doesn't seem to make any diff. I'm beginning to think there's a problem with the watch. Any thoughts or suggestions?

  • In GCM go to the device, then "general", then "Manage Storage".

There you can see how much space you have left to install new CIQ apps, as well as the space each you have installed is using.

  • Thanks for the suggestion. I have 15.9 MB available and 24 slots open. I removed all music from the watch. This happens every time I open Connect IQ.

I am experiencing a very similar problem. I received my 245 Music today and tried to put a spotify playlist on it. The sync failed and following this, I could not even access the spotify app through the watch at all. I decided to uninstall the spotify app (probably foolish in hindsight) in the hope that a reinstall would fix the issue. However, when I tried to reinstall the app I am also getting this "Memory full" message through Connect IQ, which also makes no sense as I just got the thing and it's showing plenty of free space. Every continued reinstall attempt shows the same message.

I am also having some connection issues, but mainly with Wi-Fi rather than to my phone (wi-fi connection fine with all other devices). I'm afraid I haven't found a solution yet and also worrying that this could be a fault with the watch.

Same issue here. Watch is a week old, shows plenty of memory. Weird and annoying

Hi All it turns out IQ store now has allocated slots and once full then no more I had to reset to defaults and remove and reconnect to Garmin connect to make it ok again I can only assume the last update was responsible

    all ok now
