- Good afternoon folks.
what setting on my 245 would be best suited for skipping? I can’t run at the moment and would still like to track myself through the app.
thanks for any help,
have a great day

You can't run, but you want to go skipping?
At first I was thinking the same thing. But if is referring to skipping rope, then it can have slightly less impact on the joints, depending on your typical running style.
The other thing is that maybe is doing the COVID-19 "shelter in place," but can easily skip rope at home. Although, in my location "sheltering in place" doesn't mean I can't go outside for a run. Just need to avoid getting too close to anyone.
In case it wasn’t obvious I meant rope skipping.
Nope. It must be a regional thing. In 52 years I never heard of it referred to as skipping. Jumping rope and skipping are two different things where I come from. Like I said, I wasn't trying to be rude.

yes works really well for me. Latest update no longer counts steps during rest. I use it with hrm run and my 5x. Should work well with your 245 as well.
