Garmin 245 Random Pace Alerts

All the sudden this week, my watch is giving me pace alerts when I'm doing one of the Garmin training plan workouts. It says "Pace High 9:00" or "Pace Low 11:30." Half the time, the pace its tell me is not the pace that's showing up on my watch face. I checked and my pace alerts are turned off, so I'm not sure what changed all the sudden. Can anyone help me figure this out because it's driving my crazy. It's alerting me nearly every 30 seconds.

  • I’m having this issue too, but not in the first part of the training plan, it gets offset in the second ‘run’ interval, but slowly comes back to being the same as the lap goes on. Annoying at the start and no idea which is correct.

The pace alerts happened the whole time, but the pace was wrong in my second "optional" lap interval.

  • Same here, just in the ‘optional’ lap. But the pace alerts have always been there, it’s just with the 4.4 update they have become voice audio, not just a tone.

I somehow figured out how to get the pace alerts off. I turned them on and then back and that magically fixed my problem. I didn't have an "optional" lap today so I guess I'll have to wait to see if that somehow magically fixes itself on my next run.
