Forerunner 245. Heart rate monitor.

The heart rate monitor has gone haywire. Recording 100 plus most of the time. Any gentle exercise quickly increases to 178. Only happened in last couple of days so could it be down to the latest update?

For the past week, I get false readings at the start of my LSD runs. Today, my HR showed as being 40 to 50 bpm higher than reality and was over my max HR at times. It suddenly corrected after 51 minutes of running. I wear my watch in the same position every day. Any suggestions?

I would think a HR higher than your max HR would be normal when running on LSD. :)
