the pulse monitor indicators wrist doesn’t work and the watch couldn’t turn it back on

I bought a Forerunner 245 yesterday and as soon as I got the pulse monitor indicators on my wrist, they didn’t work. I turned the watch off and couldn’t turn it back on. Do you have any idea?
