Will syncing body fat percentage with Weight Logger affect calorie burn calculation?

I have ascertained that body fat percentage can be brought over to the FR245 from the android app Weight Logger (or a compatible scale).

I have read most of the calorie calculation threads on this forum, as well as a number of relevant threads on reddit, but have been unable to find the answer to my question.

Will giving my FR245 body fat data be taken into account when it makes calorie burn calculations for excercise?

Thanks so much for any help!

  • So upset there is no reply to this. Found this post trying to find out the exact same thing. It doesn't appear to make a difference, but I feel like that doesn't make sense. I.e. having higher muscle mass (% or KG) is going to mean you burn more calories at rest. If we're giving Garmin this info why on earth wouldn't they use it?!
