245M to Headphones used to Connect from Left Wrist - now will not

I have had my 245M since September and had no issues connecting to my Aftershokz Titanium when wearing my watch on my LEFT wrist.  About a month ago, the blue tooth connection when wearing the watch on my left wrist, while outside, is choppy and cuts out every 0.5 seconds and is unbearable  This happens every time it is on my left wrist, not just once or twice.  It works fine on my right wrist.

I understand that the connection is better when there is a clear line of sight, but this did not used to happen.  Was this somehow an update issue?  More than annoying to have to completely switch wrists and adjust the habitual tendencies of retrieving my data as I run.

Exactly the same issue here. It was fine on my left wrist the first two months, but for the last month the music keeps dropping every sec or so. When lifting left wrist or using right wrist it is fine.

  • It's exactly the same with me.
On the left side I constantly have dropouts every few seconds.
On the right wrist no problems.
This is only since the software update.
I'm going to downgrade the software and then report.

I have exactly the same issue. Very frustrating that Garmin have not fixed this.

  • I have the same issue, but with my HRM-Run strap. My FR245 constantly loses connection with the strap. Connection is restored as I hold my wrist within 10-15cm of the strap.

Also a similar problem with my phone. Only when my phone is within 50cm of my 245, it will connect...

Problems occurs since the 13th of januari 2021. I'm using firmware 5.50. Unfortunately I've no idea what the previous version was. (I would like to downgrade...)
