It really hurts to watch it at night. Garmin, please add an ability to change brightness or make firmware with a lower brightness

Just bought the 245 - in any tutorial there is brightness in the menu and on the 245 THERE ISN'T?????????YOu have to be kidding me
Why don't I get the option to raise and lower brightness in my 245 when that option comes in the manuals?
