Slow to no GPS signal on 245 when about to start the run

I just got my watch replace from dead pixel issue, and updated the watch to 4.00. Everything else works fine but when I was about to start a run, typically it wouldn't take longer than 5 minutes to catch to GPS signal but with current setup it takes forever or sometimes it is not able to get GPS signal at all. I tried hard resetting the watch and I downloaded a GPS signal widget which surprisingly seems faster than when I on the start running menu.

I just updated, it got a little faster. Let wait and see :) Sad that I have had both software and hardware problems, disappointed by Garmin's product quality.

Hello, can you please tell me, where in the watch do you get information about the gps signal ? How do you know when you get it ? Thanks !

same here, it so slow compared to when i get the watch..... something is wrong it seems... but try different resets, gps settings etc... but something is wrong for me too in this case.... garmin never responded to my problem...

Please try updating the GPS firmware your watch to 2.80.
