Watch not syncing after SW 4.00 update. Status stuck with "Open App On Phone"

Same issue as what has been reported here: https://forums.garmin.com/sports-fitness/running-multisport/f/forerunner-245-series/214800/fr245-not-connecting-to-gc

- Watch was updated with SW 4.00 last night (APAC region).

- Attempted sync with phone this morning. Status on the watch stuck with "Open App On Phone".

- Restart phone, watch -- it did not help.

- Attempted to delete the pairing and create it again - Impossible to pair the watch with the phone - same error: Status on the watch stuck with "Open App On Phone".

Please rollout SW 4.10 in APAC if you think you fixed this bug already - if not please assist!!!

Since I did not get any reply from Garmin (...) i did a factory reset and that solved my problem.... Drawback: I also all the data stored on my watch (Thank you Garmin for the bad support).
