Forerunner 245 music connecting and disconnecting constantly

I have had my watch since July and when I got it had an iPhone 6. Everything worked perfectly and then a month ago I got an iPhone XR and now the watch is constantly connecting and disconnecting. Sometimes it doesn’t auto connect and it’s so frustrating because it was working so well.

The first problem was not getting certain notifications so I went through and switched all the notifications back on. But now it’s still just connecting and disconnecting a lot, even if I’m not far away from the phone.

No...it still does it a lot of the time.

I’ve tried to read other forums and any other information I can find but I can’t find a solution . Shame because I love the watch but it drives me a bit crazy.

I have been having trouble since I got my new Android phone and have tried everything to fix it with no luck. Today I was messing with my old phone and found its Bluetooth was still on and it was also connected to the watch. Maybe this explains why it would work for a while until it had two devices talking to it.
