How do I change the audio prompts alert volume?

I have bluetooth headphones connected to my watch. I have enabled lap alerts for my device. When I run I get an alert for every lap which I can hear in my headphones. This is a fantastic feature however the volume is very low and it is difficult to hear. How do I increase the volume of the alerts?

The only way I have found to do this is to start playing some music, increase the volume on the watch and then stop playing the music however this is not something I want to do whilst racing.

My headphones are the Aftershokz Aeropex, they have a volume control on the side which increases the volume when connected to other devices (Apple Watch, iPhone, etc).

Oh really? Mine is way too high, it hurts my ears it is so high pitched haha.

For Android based phones you need to adjust the media volume once you have the bluetooth headphones connected.

I have discovered that I can change the volume when the alert is playing using the buttons on the headphones but not at any other time.

Same Headset for me ;-)

I have done an request in the case of listening to music, to have a settting to manage Audio Prompts volume at a pourcentage of the General Volume for headset (for example 120%).

Because i can't increase the Generale volume too high without hurting after a long activity and don't want to manage volume at each prompt ...

Hi,

I just have a discussion with Garmin Support, this behaviour is now logged but need more users to request for a fix or an enhancement.

You need to call the support, as requesed by Garmin.
