As per title, every activity i record on garmin, it adds them as runs on strava, resulting in me having to delete them or edit on the strava app manually. I've seen that my girlfriend vivoactive 4s records them correctly, why can't devs actually do this simple thing for other devices too?

They'll probably say i need to reset things on my watch and/or send it to the repair center. I posted it here hoping someone working at garmin could see it. Let's hope so.

You're manually having to edit each "run" to reclassify the activity on Strava. Do I have that right? I guess according to that Strava thread, I'm lucky that it works for me. 
I also saw that same thread when I was hunting down the issue. Also saw something on reddit about it, but little if anything here (until now).
If you really want to get it fixed, you probably should report it to Garmin support.
