Some pixels appear dead or destroyed on the display

Hi,

since this morning I have problems with the display of my Garmin FR245M.

Indeed, some pixels seem dead which makes a spot that appears on all

the widgets and the watch face.

I did a hard reset and still have the same problem.

Have you encountered similar problems or possibly have a solution?

Suggest contacting Garmin support for a possible warranty replacement.

The spot got bigger today... I am really disappointed.

That's why you need to contact Garmin. It's not going to magically get better.

Contact Garmin. My 245 did the exact same thing. Started as a small dead spot and after a couple of days it grew into a big circle. They know there's a problem, because as soon as I sent them a picture of the watchface they offered to replace the defective watch.

Please let me take a look back at my experience with Garmin support: I must admit that they quickly brought a very fast and satisfactory response to my concern and thus saved my preparation for the marathon. Technical problems are inevitable but good management of returns make them quickly forgotten. I don't know anyone from Garmin support here in France, but just wanted to share my experience.

Anyone else having trouble contacting garmin? ive emailed them a few times without a reply.

I have a 645 music and i love it but the pixels are dying according to what im reading here, ive sent a photo to them with no reply, pretty frustrated.

It's best to contact them via phone or chat. Emailing can be a much longer process.

Any hardware issues will need to be resolved by reaching out to our support team (support.garmin.com) directly. We cannot process any exchanges via the forums.

i have emailed a few times, the first being about 4 days ago without reply. hoping this issue gets resovled, pretty shocked that so many people have had these issues.
