Foreman 245 SW 3.90 Battery Life?

I had updated to SW 3.70 at the release about a week or two ago and on my first 2 runs with it, had a higher than previous battery drain. I downgraded back to 3.52 and things are better. I'm wondering from those that have upgraded to 3.90, has your battery drain been as expected?

Battery consumption has doubled with 3.90. I used to have 0.5% per hour and now I have 1% per hour. I remember that when I bought the watch 4 months ago I had 0.3% per hour

Found 2 potential suspects:
- Added all-day respiration, respiration widget, and breathwork activity
Just noticed the the 3.90 update includes Respiration Rate which is automatically on the list of potential…

Battery life definitely worse with the new firmware. I used to get 3-4 days including GPS/Music workouts, now it's no more than 2 days.

I would say my battery live has halved since the 3.9 update. 100% down to 10% in 4 days with only one 40 minute run. Previously I would get ~7 days until I needed a charge if I only did one or two short workouts.

Me too. I was getting through a week on a charge of the battery, but after the upgrade to 3.90 it is down to half a week.

Yes. Battery drains much faster with the new firmware. Is there anyway to go back to previous firmware?

20% down in 24 hours with one 50 minute indoor cycling workout (no gps). It definitely seems like a problem, the 945 forum has loads of posts too. I guess we just hang tight for the fix, I can handle an extra charge per week for a bit.

Same here. I am 11% down since a full charge 12 hours ago -- no runs, no GPS, SP02 off. Also stopped/restarted the 245 after recharging. No doubt this is an issue with the latest FW.

Edit: just realized there is a small chance this is not the update, but some kind of an interaction between the update and, by chance, misbehavior of a watchface, data field, app, etc., that we all happen to have installed. Seems unlikely, but FWIW:

Data fields: Single Run Field, Dozen Run

Watch faces: CleanDigitalPlus, SigleTDB, Crystal, Rails

Widgets and apps: only defaults installed
