Battery drain firmware 3.70 forerunner 245m, wasn’t like this before

battery drains in couple days with no gps use, never happened before

seems to be happening on firmware 3.70

only using as watch when this happens now with no phone notification etc

this has went from an amazing watch to rubbish with this update

And I don’t know how to update or go to previous version as support isn’t great

The number of times I’ve had to reset this watch…

Same. Took my watch off the charger this morning and I'm down 35% with no activities 14 hours later. I'd normally expect a 8-10% drain.

Same for me. I used to get about 2 weeks battery life without using GPS before the "upgrade" to 3.70 but now I'm getting just 2 days.

We'd recommend by starting with a hard reset (holding power button down until the display turns off) before powering your device back on and using it like normal.

This will not erase any of your settings. This shouldn't be necessary normally, but it can often clear up odd symptoms like excessive battery drain.

can I just add that I’ve reset the device numerous times now, and it freezes when trying to turn back on also.

It also keeps loosing the music settings and Bluetooth connection

3.70 is terrible .. with so many bugs

getting fed up having to put WiFi password back in every time .

I used 1 week 3.70 and 1 day 3.77.

Previous beta 3.52 was almost 50% more effective.

With 3 hours run (gps+glonass) + 4 hours bike (ultratrack) it was easy get 6 days.

I`m disappointed in 3.70 and will return to 3.52

I edited my post since 3.52 is not so effective. But now I have used 48% in 72 hours, runnung 2 hours with gps, cycling 2 hours - ultratrack.
