Hello All,
I bought my mother the forerunner 245 including new HRM & Cadence sensors, she is training indoor on a bicycle trainer.
Since we bought it (maybe half a year ago) we are experiencing a problem with both ANT+ sensors (HRM & Cadence.)
The problem is that after ~25 minutes of activity both cadence & HRM together fail. (As shown in the pictures bellow.)
An impotent detail regarding this problem is that :
it is happening only when the Garmin forerunner 245 installed on the handlebar of the bicycle, when on the arm it is working fine lately (used to do problems too, maybe was fixed with newer versions) .
I went to Garmin service and they replaced the watch to a new one, still same exact issue. every time we have the watch not on the arm, it fail to read the sensors after about 25 minutes.
We waited a long time to see if a new software update will fix this issue but still with all latest updates the problem exist.
Anyone experience the same issue? Does Garmin aware of it and it is somewhere in the queue for future fixes?
P.S - I use the Fenix 3 with both cadence and HRM, so I gave both of my sensor to my mother and toke hers to make sure the problem is in her watch and not the sensor, the result shows that the issue is in the watch because her sensors worked just fine for me with the Fenix-3.
Her current version on the forerunner 245 is 3.70.0.0
Thanks
Eran
