Manual lap button not working.

Manual lap button not working.
I have turned off auto-lap and pressed the back button when running to mark a lap. This takes me back to my clock face and does not create a lap time. I am doing something wrong? I think I have followed the instructions. Any ideas? Thanks

Select START, select an activity, hold UP, and select the activity settings.

Here you should have Lap Key (on/off) setting.

I think there's a setting for the lap button.
