Can't reply to text messages.

I cannot reply to text messages.

I am able to reply to phone calls and select & send one of the predefined messages. But when selecting Reply to a text message, it just goes back to my watch face and no message was sent.

Help!

I didn’t even know this was possible on the Forerunner 245. I don’t see anything in the user manual.

When I first connected my forerunner 245 to my Moto G6, I saw a few text messages but they quickly vanished and I have not been able to receive the on the watch ever since no matter what I do!! All the tricks I found googling have not worked so I suspect that some phones just can't handle this feature.

I have seen the video and did all the setups.

I can reply to phone calls, but not to text msgs. I see the reply option on the watch. But when I hit that It just takes me to the watch face. My phone will be in messenger mode ready to reply to that person when I hit reply on the watch. So something is happening, but not what should be happening.

I have replaced my phone, instead Xiaomi Redmi note 4, NOW: Samsung Galaxy A7 - everything works well now. include SMS reply
